These terms apply to your use of this website, the BorderCityPest.ca intake phone line, and related online service-request features. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
1. Site operator and service model
Thunder Spray Inc. operates BorderCityPest.ca as the intake site and is the sole pest-control company permitted to receive and fulfil requests. BorderCityPest.ca is not a separate pest-control service entity. Any assessment, quotation, service agreement, scheduling, or pest-control work accepted is offered by Thunder Spray Inc.. Requests are not sold or shared with another pest-control company.
2. Purpose of the site
The site provides general information and a way to submit a pest-control service request. Website content is not pest identification, an inspection, a treatment recommendation, a safety or medical opinion, a regulatory opinion, a quotation, a booking, or a promise of results.
3. A request is not a booking or contract
Submitting a form, calling the intake line, or receiving an automated response does not guarantee coverage, availability, response time, price, appointment, or service.
Any accepted service is governed by the quotation, preparation instructions, scope, limitations, cancellation terms, warranty terms, and service agreement provided or confirmed by Thunder Spray Inc.. If those documents conflict with general website copy, the specific written service documents govern the accepted work, subject to applicable law.
4. Your responsibilities
When using the site or intake line, you agree to:
- Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Submit a request only for a property you own, occupy, manage, or are otherwise authorized to address.
- Avoid impersonation, fraudulent requests, harassment, system interference, or unlawful use.
- Tell the provider about known access restrictions and relevant safety, child, pet, tenant, allergy, food, equipment, or operational considerations.
- Review provider documents and ask questions before authorizing work.
- Avoid entering, opening, handling, or disturbing an area that appears unsafe merely to collect information.
You remain responsible for obtaining any owner, tenant, condominium, employer, site, or other authorization required for access or service.
5. Safety and emergencies
The site and intake line are not emergency-response or medical services. If anyone is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services. Do not rely on a submitted form, voicemail, AI response, or estimated callback for urgent protection.
Do not use website information as instructions to handle pesticides, traps, nests, droppings, wildlife, structural hazards, or unknown organisms. Wait for advice specific to the property from an appropriate qualified provider.
6. AI-assisted intake and calls
The phone line may use an AI receptionist to ask questions, transcribe responses, summarize a request, and route a call. Automated systems can misunderstand or omit information. Confirm important details with the provider.
Recorded calls are subject to the notice and consent process described in the Privacy Notice. Visitors who do not want a recorded call can use the online request form.
7. Communications
If you provide contact information, you authorize communications reasonably related to the service request, including by phone, text, or email as selected or needed. Carrier message and data rates may apply.
Service-request communication is separate from optional marketing. Marketing messages will only be sent when the configured program has an appropriate consent basis and unsubscribe process.
8. Photos, files, and submitted content
If uploads are enabled, submit only material relevant to the property request that you have the right to provide. Do not upload identification documents, payment-card data, private records, illegal material, or images that unnecessarily identify other people.
You permit submitted material to be used as reasonably necessary to review the request for intake and referral, document it, route it, and respond to it. Ownership of your original material does not transfer merely because it is submitted.
9. Availability, accuracy, and changes
We try to keep site information clear and current, but services, geographic coverage, capacity, pricing factors, pest scope, and technologies can change. Content may contain errors or become outdated. Confirm material service details directly with Thunder Spray Inc. before relying on them.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue site features or content. This does not alter an existing signed service agreement except as that agreement or applicable law permits.
10. Intellectual property
The site design, original copy, branding, graphics, and other site materials are owned by or licensed to Thunder Spray Inc. unless otherwise stated. You may view and use the site for your own legitimate service enquiry. You may not copy, scrape, republish, sell, misrepresent, or interfere with the site or its materials except as permitted by law or written permission.
11. Third-party services and links
The site may rely on third-party communication, hosting, mapping, payment, analytics, or scheduling services, or link to other websites. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement, and we are not responsible for content outside our control, subject to applicable law.
12. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the site and intake features are provided on an “as available” basis for general information and request submission. We do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect transcription, complete pest identification, fixed response times, or a particular service result through the website.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Thunder Spray Inc. is not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on general website content, unauthorized or inaccurate submissions, unavailable communications systems, or third-party services outside its reasonable control. Thunder Spray Inc. remains responsible for every service it quotes, contracts, schedules, or performs. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights.
13. Privacy
The Privacy Notice explains how personal information associated with the site, forms, and phone line is handled. It forms part of these website terms. Read the Privacy Notice.
14. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available under applicable law.
15. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. The version in effect when you use the site applies to that use. Changes to an existing pest-control service agreement are governed by that agreement and applicable law.
